An Evening of Spiritual Poetry: Saturday 20th July
We're looking forward to welcoming a vey special guest at this week's Saturday Soul Feast.
Kripamoya das is an author, broadcaster and guru who has been teaching the science of bhakti yoga - the yoga of love and devotion - around the world for over 40 years.
An erudite, scholarly and warm-hearted soul with a wonderful sense of humour, Kripamoya is a great musician who is also well known for his otherworldy singing voice, which he uses to lead soul-stirring kirtans (group mantra meditation).
This Saturday he'll visiting us in Canterbury for the very first time, discussing the significance of poetry on the spiritual path and giving us a special Q&A, as well as exploring a particularly special piece of poetry from medieval India.
He'll be leading a guided mantra meditation with that special voice of his, and joining us for a free veggie feast at the end, too.
The event is free of charge and open to everybody so please come along and don't forget to bring a friend (and an empty stomach!)
You can find out more and let us know you're coming via the Facebook event, or just turn up and join in the fun. Hope you have a great week in the meantime. Hare Krishna!
