This week we have a very special guest, Dayal Mora das, visiting from our world-famous Soho temple.
As well as being one of the senior monks at the temple, Dayal Mora also organises the annual UK 'Padayatra' (walking festival) which has taken place in Kent over the last couple of years.
The festival has been hugely popular and will be taking place in east Kent once again this year, starting in Ashford on the 12th of August before passing through Canterbury for a special event in the Dane John Gardens on the 15th. From there the Padayatra will make its way to Thanet, ending in Margate on the 20th.
Dayal will be telling us all about the festival, and sharing some of his other realisations about spiritual life and the practice of Krishna consciousness.
Like us, Dayal is well known to enjoy a good party, so this week you can expect ecstatic kirtans, blissful dancing and a wonderful feast from 5pm at the Canterbury Umbrella Centre.
Hope to see you there. Hare Krishna!
